The Official Debut: REVERENCE

 

REVERENCE is both an edit and an ethos. Six designs form its foundation, exploring time; not as a backdrop, but as an architecture. The pieces in this collection are shaped by the idea that time is not linear, but recursive. That what we think of as destiny may in fact be repetition; and clarity comes not through progress, but through the cadence of our own patterns.

Through this, we find that the trail we have been following has been our own identity all along; like a memory of the future; each dimension of being exists in tandem.

The collection revealed in Paris is a meditation on permanence: jewels that mirror the way time carves form into memory, legacy and presence. Each creation is defined by sculptural form and a restrained palette; evoking a timeless, distilled aesthetic that is deliberately contrasted by structures that challenge traditional jewellery design.

Introducing REVERENCE, A New Chapter in the Layla Kaisi Collection Universe

 

“After eight years of telling your stories, it is now my turn to tell mine. This edit is deeply personal; born from two years of exploring the concepts of time, space, and legacy. My mind has been running through the infinite threads that connect a person - my ancestors, my future descendants, the past and the future, the here and the everywhere - all collapsing into one multiverse of existence.

This idea manifested itself beyond words, into the language I know best. And with this, I present: REVERENCE.

Unveiled privately in Auckland before its international launch during Paris Fashion Week 2025, Reverence stands as a manifesto of the brand’s evolution, a study in what endures, and a meditation on the patterns that shape who we are.

At its heart, REVERENCE is an exploration of time, not as a backdrop but as an architecture. It challenges the idea that time moves forward, suggesting instead that it folds, repeats, and returns. That the future is not something we chase, but something already encoded within our inheritance and our choices.

Each piece is a sculptural dialogue between proportion and precision, crafted in 18ct white gold and set with white diamonds ranging from 1ct to 5ct. Together, the six designs form a single, cohesive body of work that views identity as cyclical, constantly in conversation with its past and its potential.

REVERENCE is not nostalgic. It does not look back with longing.

It is about return, not regression.

Precision, not performance.

This is the future you almost forgot.

Paris has long been regarded as the epicentre of artistry, couture, and cultural legacy; making it the only fitting stage for LKC’s next chapter. This week, we officially arrived in the City of Light; not as visitors, but to showcase LKC for a second season at Paris Fashion Week.

With this moment, LKC steps into a dialogue with a city that has defined artistry itself, affirming our commitment to shaping jewellery as declarations of selfhood.

In Paris, we officially launch REVERENCE: an edit conceived as living architecture; each design articulating identity, time, and legacy with sculptural clarity.

When supermodel Ashley Graham stepped into the Palais Garnier wearing four LKC creations, the spirit of REVERENCE came vividly to life. Each design folds past, present, and future into sculptural expressions that feel both precise and eternal.

That’s what REVERENCE is: architecture for the body and memory.

This philosophy shapes every curve and plane of the collection. Minimal yet monumental, each piece is a meditation on becoming; on what it means to belong to one’s own story, and to wear that story as art.
