The best way to figure out your ring size is to visit your local jeweller to have your sizing done professionally and accurately.  If this is not feasible, use the ring sizing guide below to help you decide which size is best for you.  

This can be done in two ways:

• Either measure in mm the INSIDE diameter of a current well fitting ring by placing a ruler across the centre of the ring at the widest part and measuring.

or 

• Wrapping a string firmly but comfortably around your finger exactly one time, mark how much string you use and measuring the length of this string across a ruler to figure out the circumference. 

Next, compare the measurements of either the inside diameter or circumference to the chart here to figure out your ring size. 

*Please note this is only a guide therefore we cannot be responsible for incorrect ring size determination. We will make the ring size to match the exact details you provide us,  therefore we will not be held liable if it does not fit. However, in this case we will do our best to correct the situation by remaking it to the fit size. Some extra charges will incur regarding the sizing and shipping.

Our jewellery is hand-made to your order. This is pretty special, but it also means that some pieces take longer than others to produce and ship out especially during busy periods or for highly customised or labour intensive pieces. 

• For our One of a Kind LKC pieces next-day shipping is available, however please allow between 7-10 working days for your order to be resized if necessary.
• For our bespoke services or highly customised pieces, please allow between 6-12 weeks for custom-made designs from the date of confirmed order and initial deposit payment.

Layla Kaisi Collection jewellery is made with high quality precious materials. Each piece is made by hand with care taken to every detail, and if you treat it nicely, our jewellery can last a lifetime. Please take note of the following guidelines for handling your jewellery pieces so you may be able to preserve their original quality and enjoy them for many years to come.

• When getting ready place your jewellery on last to avoid any contact with hairsprays, perfumes or lotions.
• While these pieces are durable enough to wear every day we highly recommend removing your jewellery pieces before showering, swimming, working out and applying sprays/lotions. 
• Never sleep/ bathe with your jewellery. 
• Special care should be taken with chains as they are more prone to snagging/ breakage if treated roughly, so please ensure to remove before sleeping, showering, and rigorous exercise. When not worn it is best to lay them out flat to avoid tangling. 
• We recommend you to store your jewellery in their protective boxes/pouches that they came in at all times when not in use, as it will help to avoid natural scratching/ tarnishing that would occur when left with other jewellery/items. 
• After each wear, wipe the metal surface gently down with a suede or soft cloth and store it in its protective box/pouch.

Of course! The core of our business is to design and create hand-crafted jewellery made-to-order to your request. Email us about any design ideas or queries you have as this is the best part of our job! We can create a piece to your exact specifications, and we are also happy to make changes to the designs already present in the online store. 

We work one on one with clients via email or face to face consultations to design bespoke wedding, anniversary and occasion pieces.

The process for bespoke design consultations can all be done over email or face to face meetings. We will discuss your ideas and go back and forth with you as we build your chosen design. Please see the basic outline of this process is below:

Initial Consult

First we talk about your style choices, along with any initial thoughts you have to help us build an idea of what you are after. 

Discuss Your Idea

Then from there we can advise different options and potential design styles, to fine tune the concept until you are happy with it. 

Gem Selection

Finally according to your design, we can compare and discuss stone options depending on your budget. 

Review

From there we are able to build an exact idea of what you are after and when you confirm the details, we can then calculate an exact quote (including delivery and any necessary insurance) for you to review the final design, and get your official confirmation. 

Upon confirmation a deposit will need to be placed to confirm your final order. Thereafter, once the design is completed the remaining total, plus any insurance and shipping costs needed to be paid prior to your piece getting shipped out to you.

Yes Layla Kaisi Collection operates from a private studio on Shortland Street, Auckland CBD via appointment only.

For our clients interested in bespoke pieces, please contact us to book an appointment for your consult. LKC invites you to our studio to discuss design options and ideas.

Alternatively, if you have ordered a piece and would like to physically pick up the design, you are more than welcome to let us know when you would like to come in, and we can ensure your piece is beautifully packed and ready for your arrival.

For online purchases we provide:

• Online bank transfers
• Debit or credit cards for online orders

Please note we do not accept credit card purchases over the phone for security reasons. 

Yes, we provide a range of repair services, however this service is exclusive to pieces purchased directly from LKC. In some cases, the customer will have to bear the cost of shipping as well as the repair cost. 

• Repairs are handled case to case therefore the cost for each individual job will vary according to the work needed to be done on the piece, therefore we will provide you with a quote of the service. 

Return Policy 

We do not offer returns or exchanges for change of mind, however if there is a manufacturing fault with the jewellery pieces  we will meet our obligations under the consumer guarantees act and try our best to rectify the issue. 

Any damage to the jewellery outside a manufacturing fault will not be available for returns or exchange. This includes but is not limited to:

• Misuse of pieces (re: care instructions)
• Repairs done by any other person(s)/company
• General wear and tear

All return items must appear new and unused, in their original condition and carefully and securely wrapped in their original packaging. If you do not return the product following this process, your exchange may be refused or delayed.Layla Kaisi Collection is not responsible for any return shipping costs.
