Layla Kaisi Collection at the 2026 Fashion Quarterly Fashion Awards

The Fashion Quarterly Fashion Awards have long served as a defining moment within Aotearoa’s fashion calendar, bringing together the designers, creatives and industry leaders shaping New Zealand’s evolving creative landscape. Held at Auckland’s Park Hyatt, the 2026 awards celebrated the individuals and brands contributing to the continued growth and recognition of New Zealand fashion.

Layla Kaisi Collection jewellery featured throughout the evening, with award winners, creatives and founder Layla Kaisi herself wearing designs from the OUTRÉ Collection, REVERENCE Edit, custom and One-Of-A-Kind pieces. Each piece reflected the house’s distinctive design language – where sculptural form, exceptional craftsmanship and the artistry of fine jewellery converge.

Tia Harris wore a selection of custom and signature Layla Kaisi Collection designs, including a custom 5ct cushion-cut white diamond ring on her right hand, custom diamond arch earrings, and Contrast from the OUTRÉ Collection styled on her left hand. Set against the dramatic floral detailing of her black gown, the sculptural diamond pieces introduced a striking interplay between softness and structure, highlighting the architectural nature of the designs.

Sophie Song, recipient of the Model of the Year award, wore the Cascade earrings from the OUTRÉ Collection alongside Ascent on her left hand – a custom-designed Layla Kaisi Collection ring featuring a 3ct round brilliant-cut white diamond, complemented by a trail of round brilliant-cut diamonds that curve sinuously along the finger. A custom round diamond stacker band adorned her right hand, completing a look where the dramatic simplicity of a sleek black dress and sculptural fur coat was balanced by the brilliance and movement of fine diamond jewellery.

Recognised as Rising Star of the Year, Estelle Schuler wore a considered selection of pieces spanning multiple Layla Kaisi Collection designs. Her look featured the one-of-a-kind Reverie earrings, the Moment necklace from the OUTRÉ Collection, and the Silhouette and Precision rings from the REVERENCE Edit, with both rings styled together on her left hand. The sculptural jewellery was paired with an oversized charcoal suit, white shirt detailing and a bold red accent, creating a compelling contrast between tailored structure and feminine expression.

Sarah Jayne Kavali and Tiffany Low were both spotted wearing Perspective from the OUTRÉ Collection paired with Coherence from the REVERENCE Edit, each styling the sculptural diamond pieces in their own distinctive way. Sarah paired the designs with a dramatic black gown and rich red fur shawl, creating a striking contrast between deep tones and luminous white diamonds, while Tiffany complemented the pieces with a shoulderless oxblood gown and black lace gloves, introducing an interplay of colour, texture and form. Together, their looks highlighted the versatility of Layla Kaisi Collection’s sculptural approach to fine jewellery.

Founder Layla Kaisi brought the REVERENCE Edit to life, wearing three signature designs from the collection: the Reclamation palm cuff, Recursive ear cuff and Cadence three-finger ring. The look was completed with a custom white gold fluid-form choker necklace, designed to trace the collarbones and move intuitively with the body. Paired with a figure-hugging deep red strapless gown, futurist black sunglasses and a bold red lip, the jewellery reflected the very essence of Layla Kaisi Collection – sculptural, expressive and unapologetically individual.

Layla Kaisi Collection made a striking statement at the 2026 Fashion Quarterly Fashion Awards, with its sculptural diamond jewellery worn throughout an evening dedicated to celebrating New Zealand’s creative talent. From custom and One-Of-A-Kind creations to signature designs from the OUTRÉ Collection and REVERENCE Edit, each piece contributed to a broader conversation between fine jewellery and contemporary fashion – where form, identity and artistry intersect.

At the heart of Layla Kaisi Collection is the belief that adornment is a form of language – that jewellery has the ability to express what words cannot. Each creation is more than an object of beauty; it is an exploration of form, meaning and individuality, designed as a personal reflection of the person who wears it. This philosophy guides the house in creating pieces that extend beyond adornment – considered works of artistry that carry emotion, intention and significance long after the moment they are first worn.

Layla Kaisi Collection extends its congratulations to all 2026 Fashion Quarterly Fashion Award winners and nominees, whose creativity and individuality continue to inspire the evolving landscape of New Zealand fashion.
